What you type into the calculator
When you choose a store, a date and an item type, the deadline is worked out by code running on your own device. Those choices are not sent to us, not saved, and not written to your browser’s storage. Close the tab and nothing is left behind. We could not tell you what anyone has looked up, because we never receive it.
The calendar reminder works the same way. The file is built in your browser and handed straight to your device. Nothing about it reaches us.
What is collected
Hosting. The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, its servers record requests, which includes your IP address, the page requested, and your browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist to run and secure the service, and they are kept for a limited period.
Page views. We use Vercel’s own analytics to count visits. It records which page was viewed, the site you arrived from, an approximate country, and a general device type. It does not set cookies, does not give you a persistent identifier, and does not follow you to other sites. It is how we know whether anyone is finding the site. It is not connected to anything you enter.
What this site does not do
- No accounts, no sign-in, no email address asked for.
- No cookies at all, and nothing written to your browser’s storage.
- No record of what you searched for, bought, or returned.
- Typefaces are served from this site, so loading a page makes no request to a font provider.
- Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for anyone else’s marketing.
Links to retailers
Every store page links to that retailer’s own policy page. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not this one. We are not affiliated with any retailer.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area, or a US state with its own privacy law, you have rights over personal data held about you, including to ask for a copy, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to object to its use.
In practice there is very little to exercise those rights against: we hold no account, no contact details, and no record of what you looked up.
Children
This site is meant for adults working out a return deadline. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The previous wording stays in the site’s public source history.
